The keys to longevity, energy and vibrant health can be found in the principles of Ayurveda. With roots in India and Vedic thought, Ayurveda explores how the five fundamental elements of nature – Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space – show up in every living thing, ourselves included. These five elements combine to create the three doshas of Vata (air and space), Pitta (fire and water), and Kapha (water and earth). We each have a unique percentage of these three doshas that makes up our inherent constitution or Prakruti, and it is this delicate balance of the elements within our body, mind, and spirit that we strive to maintain.

Ayurvedic medicine is not a one-size-fits-all program; we understand that everyone is unique and your treatment should be as distinct as you are. Together we’ll unlock the unique qualities of your body and mind that will establish the foundation for healthier habits, a stronger body, and a clearer, sharper mind. While Ayurveda has been used for centuries to heal, treat, and prevent a multitude of conditions, we find it particularly powerful in dealing with digestive distress, insomnia, weight management, stress reduction and anxiety.

The following services provide a unique opportunity to better understand your inherent constitution and offer a variety of ways to address imbalances. An Ayurvedic Consultation typically consists of two initial meetings plus weekly, monthly or quarterly follow-up visits.

Initial Consultation:  An in-depth conversation designed to gather details pertaining to diet, lifestyle, past and present health/medical conditions, daily habits, and routines. Pulse diagnosis, tongue analysis, and abdominal exam are included. (90-120 min)

Report of Findings/Wellness Report:  You’ll be presented with a personalized summary of your Prakruti (inherent constitution) and Vikruti (current imbalance). Your Wellness Report includes a dosha-specific food program, herbal recommendations, lifestyle modifications, and more. (45-60 min)

Follow-up Visits:  The path to wellness takes time and commitment. Follow-up visits are designed to assist you in implementing Ayurvedic principles into your life in the most seamless and sustainable way possible. Honoring on-going follow-up visits provides an opportunity to check in, monitor successes, creatively address challenges, and tackle additional therapies and protocols. (45 min)
