Thank you for visiting Energy Environments’ webpage to learn about the intentional spaces we create for humanity to pause and hold space for themselves and one another.

Each of the images in the gallery above is an example of an environment in which we could slow down, return to center, reconnect and support us as we continue our journey of living.

You’re invited to join us at the below activities and invite yourself to slow down…even if for a short while.

UPCOMING EVENTS

UPCOMING EVENTS

On the 3rd weekend of each month, we conduct community labyrinth walks at two locations (noted in the above graphic). The program listed below serves as an idea of the program to take place during the labyrinth walk. The walks are open to everyone and are free to attend, no RSVP is necessary.

ITEMS TO BRING (but not required)

  • Water

  • Journal to write down thoughts, words about the experience

  • Book of poetry (select a reading for sharing after the walk)

  • Item(s) you wish to have with you as you walk the labyrinth; items with a special meaning, such as prayer beads, crystals, rosary, photo, etc.

  • Lawn chair or blanket - if prefer a personal seat

  • Gather at the labyrinth (10:00am or 6:30pm). Walkers are greeted and prepare for labyrinth experience by selecting an item to include in their labyrinth experience, if they desire. There will be various items from which to select, or guests are invited to bring a cherished item with them.

  • Next (10:10 or 6:40pm), walkers gather on the periphery of the labyrinth, opening remarks are made, then walkers will make their way toward the labyrinth entrance.

  • Walkers will be guided onto the labyrinth to allow for space between one another. The time it takes to walk the labyrinth is completely up to the individual, no one will be hurried.

  • As walkers complete their labyrinth journey, they will be invited to enjoy a refreshment while others finish their walk.

  • Once everyone has completed walking the labyrinth, we will again gather on the labyrinth around the center, portable seats will be available, as well as blankets for those who wish to sit on the ground.

  • During this time, we will reflect, share thoughts or even a poem.

  • At the conclusion, final remarks will be made/shared before closing out the time together
