  • Dee Anne Day

Dee began tap and ballet classes at 4 years of age. Growing up, dance was a big part of her life and school sports, gymnastics and volleyball, as well. She continued with ballet through most of her 20s. Dee became self-employed at 24. Stress and illness in her 30'slead to surgeries in 1999. While recovering and knowing that she needed a career change, she took her first yoga class the same year. She was drawn to the Bikram practice (Hot Yoga) because of the mental focus and body awareness aspect that was required just like studying ballet for many years. The practice helped her body heal and realign itself. It made such an impact that she knew teaching yoga would be her next move. Her love for yoga also lead her to purchase yogaQUEST in 2012! You can read more of Dee's journey on the "Our Story" page.

Her favorite thing about Tulsa is the physical activities available inside and out, plus the loving community she is surrounded by.

In 2002, she was off to Los Angeles to do the teacher training. Nicole's been teaching ever since. She has continued to hone her skills over the years. In fact, in 2005, she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where she has most recently resided. • Kathy Clarke

Balance. Energy. Mindfulness. All components of what brought Kathy to yoga over 15 years ago and remain integral to her practice. After becoming a 200hr RYT in 2019, she added community and expansiveness to the original reasons. Practicing the physical component of yoga, the asanas, is highly important yet only a fraction of what comprises Kathy's yogic journey. "After all, I spend more time off the mat than on the mat". Her wish is to help others integrate not only the ‘asanas’ of yoga into their routines, but live through example, all the other aspects of yoga that comprise a healthy, balanced and mindful presence on this sphere, we call Mother Earth.

Kathy loves Tulsa for its Food, Libations and Arts!
